Our Team Focus
Legal Insite (ACN 153 049 711) was established in 2011 in response to the Directors’ desire to provide 'in-house' style legal services in a flexible, personal and cost-effective manner that is simply not possible within the business model the typical law firm.
Many small to medium organisations recognise the advantages of having their own in-house legal counsel on the team, but do not need a full-time lawyer. Legal InSite makes all of the benefits of an in-house style legal service available to these businesses on a flexible, part-time and fixed fee basis.
We primarily work on-site at your office and we think and act as part of your team rather than as an 'external' lawyer.
We aim to manage the day-to-day legal matters, advice, reviews and drafting of documents for our clients. Because we get to know you, your business and your team from the inside out we can give prompt, clear advice specifically tailored to your individual circumstances on a broad range of legal issues.
A key part of our role is also to help proactively identify and improve areas of potential legal opportunity and risk across the business - reducing exposure to legal liability, and helping to strengthen the organisation across the board through better protection of its intellectual property, confidential information, client, supplier and employee relationships and so on.
Co-Founder, Rupen Kotecha is a strategically and commercially-minded Chartered Accountant. He spent three years as CFO on the Board of British Airways Regional Cargo and has advised on restructuring, merger and disposal of businesses. He has also worked as a business analyst for a management consulting company with exposure to the likes of Shell, British Gas and Ford. Over his career to-date Rupen has acquired invaluable knowledge and experience of the problems and opportunities facing large and small businesses in sales, operational and financial areas.
Legal Director, Veronica Jumeaux, has over 20 years experience as a commercial lawyer, working closely with Australian businesses across a diverse range of industries. She has owned and run her own businesses for nearly 20 years, so she understands first hand the issues and pressures facing small to medium businessses. Veronica has a strong track record of providing commercially astute legal advice, bringing clarity to complexity, and providing flexible and accessible service.
Legal Insite attracts highly motivated and experienced lawyers that desire to make a real difference by being part of the team and integrated into your business and its culture. Our aim is to provide high quality and business-savvy legal and commercial results - when and where you need it most.
